Melee[edit | edit source]

Melee weapons are any support weapons that require the mech to be next to its target in order to be in range. Advanced versions will have additional effects on the mechs melee capabilities as well as their own impact, while the cheaper, retrofitted weapons suffer debuffs to their accuracy (a spade still hurts when it hits you, even if you can't swing it around easily).

Damage Weapons[edit | edit source]

Like it says on the tin, no significant buffing/debuffing, but lots of damage. While these weapons can all be fired in melee, several have significantly longer ranges.

Debuff[edit | edit source]

These can be broken down into 3 catagories: Target Painters, EMPs and Fluid Guns. Target painters improve accuracy of subsequent shots against the target, EMPs apply a variety of debuffs that degrade the effectiveness of the mech, while Fluid guns apply more powerful, targeted effects.

AMS[edit | edit source]

Anti Missile Systems provide the mech/vehicle/turret carrying it and in some cases all friendlies surrounding it protection from incoming missile fire by attempting to shoot down the missiles before they impact. Non-laser AMS uses AMS ammo.
