Description[edit | edit source]

The Railgun is a massive weapon adapted from WarShips to be used on BattleMechs. Clan technology has allowed such a massive weapon to fit a relative small space. The powerful weapon decimates enemy 'Mechs with a single, well-placed shot, but only a few 'Mechs are able to mount. This one was specially downscaled for Assault mechs on the CT. Experimental close range firemode unlocked.

Uses Railgun Ammo.

Bonuses and attributes[edit | edit source]

  • Weapon damage varies between +/-50
  • +50% critical hit chance with this weapon
  • This weapon has a recoil of 8
  • Gauss Rifles are high damage, long-ranged weapons with low heat, Powers Down to prevent Explosion when out of Ammo
  • Artillery deals massive damage at extreme range, but has immense mass

Component Explosion[edit | edit source]

If the Railgun (DS) is destroyed during battle due to critical hits, it will explode, causing:

  • 80 Regular damage
  • 10 Stability damage
  • 60 Heat damage
