Description[edit | edit source]

A Gauss Rifle uses electromagnetic charges to accelerate metallic rounds at extremely high speed, dealing massive damage by kinetic force alone. Unlike Autocannons, Gauss Rifles do not suffer recoil effects from firing and have a baseline bonus to accuracy.

Uses Gauss Ammo.

  • Gauss Rifles are high damage, long-ranged weapons with low heat, Powers Down to prevent Explosion when out of Ammo
  • High-Energy Capacitors discharge violently for 50 damage when destroyed

If the Gauss Rifle M7 is destroyed during battle due to critical hits, it will explode, causing:

  • 70 Regular damage per remaining amount of ammo
  • 18 Stability damage per remaining amount of ammo
  • 5 Heat damage per remaining amount of ammo
