LIGHT CARRIER
While not as ubiquitous as the 60 ton class, 40 ton Light Carriers are a common sight on the battlefield. Amounting to little more than an armored truck with some missile racks, carriers are made and used by nearly every known power. Every missile system ever devised has been bolted to a carrier by someone, and some guns and lasers too. The hope with a carrier is that it can hit first and hit hard. Very few of them can survive much return fire. The sheer variety of carriers makes them more of a threat. Without good sensor information it's very hard to predict what they will be sending your way. But you can rest assured that whatever it's sending, it's sending a lot of it.
